day 6: failure?

Ugh. Today was hard. I feel like a failure. We’re learning map skills, continents, oceans and the compass rose and after my assessment this afternoon, they didn’t know any of it! After three days! To add to it, I’m already going at too slow of a pace and apparently not reaching my objectives. (heave sigh.) Something needs to change and after 11 hour work days, plus homework, I will be praying for energy tonight. I’m about ready to pass out.
